However, I would advise against telling them how to do their hair. Not all hairstyles will look good on every single bridesmaid. As long as they don’t do their hair like how you plan on doing it, I think you should let them pick a style that flatters their face. Hair can make or break someone. I know I feel more confident and pretty with my hair down. I think you would want your girls feeling their best on your day.

I think it’s weird to choose their hairstyles for them and haven’t seen bridesmaids have matching hair since the early 2000’s, but everything else seems fine.

Yeah I agree, I don’t think you should tell people how to do their hair. Everything else is fine but the “preferred” part may get a little blurry because your bridesmaids may get those styles just to make you happy when they might not feel good at all. In my opinion you should either pick the dress or say they can pick their own

Send reasonable! I told my bridesmaid they could close what dress they wanted as long as it was long and not straoless, and in the correct color from David's bridal (I didn't give them options on the color). I also told them any shoes that are nude, and I am giving them jewelry as my bridesmaids gifts.

Okay ladies thank youuuuu! i don’t know how to edit a post on here or not sure if you can, but i just wanna say, i wasn’t gonna choose hair, until they all decided they wanted that one specific hairstyles, and one girl just didn’t want her hair down so i found one where she could have it put up, but thank y’all!

I don't think you should dictate hair style.

It might be simpler to pick a specific color and fabric. (Fabrics that are too mismatched can look weird together.) There’s nothing wrong with those suggestions, though, other than the ones for hair. You shouldn’t say anything about their hair unless you’re paying to have it done. Even then, it’s not a great thing to do.

I love the hairstyle options! I think that's a good idea! I don't feel like I am too strict either, but want it someone put together and not all over the place! I think it is great! Good luck!

For some reason my first comment didn't show up...I think if there is something you want, you should be more specific. If someone sees "preferred color" they are going to have a hard time picking a dress in a different color even if the one they select is one of the ones you have listed. You also might get a situation where all but one or two are wearing the same color, and you have to decide if you are okay with that.
