Bridesmaid Tote bags! What to put in them!

Hello all! I purchased tote bags for my bridesmaids and these bags say bridesmaids on them so they are not really a gift but I wanted to put a bunch of fun things in them for the wedding morning/day! I was thinking of putting a champagne glass (that we could use the morning of while getting ready) maybe a water bottle, chocolate, a snack, maybe a small bottle of wine or champagne. What do you think of this idea? Anything you would put in? I am also giving them actual gifts that are personalized necklaces and a spa set/ candle. But was thinking of having these in separate bags. Do you think this works? Thanks in advance

I got tote bags for my girls too! I’m putting customized flip flops, bridesmaid hangers, an emergency get ready kit, and a personalized necklace with the first letter of there name on it. I think I might also add the customized tumblers and maybe bracelets that they can wear the day of? Not 100% sure yet. I really wanted to get them all personalized beach towels but for 7 girls, that’s extremely expensive so I may have to pass on that one!

I got tote bags for mine too! Following because I’m still debating what to put in them. Probably robes but still need something else too

Hi FutureMrsl!! I love this idea, so cute!! I like what you have so far, maybe you could add in a bath bomb and a lotion? I think they will love to have these the morning of and a great place to keep some of their things through out the day!

Etsy is a awesome place to start just because they have ENDLESS options for personalized things like that. The glasses are cute as are tumblers and personalized water bottles. Little emergency kits are great (for them and you!) plus a little hangover kit for the day after the wedding.
You can also do custom pashminas or shawls, robes, hangers all sorts of stuff. I was a bridesmaid for a friend who got us all custom men's dress shirts to get ready in. Super cute.

Awesome idea! I'm doing something similar - but their gift items are basically the "contents" of the bag. They're all getting a mini spa set, a bottle of wine, a shawl (since the weather is about 50/50 on whether the temps will reach above 60 that day) a bunch of snacks, their getting ready robes, and possibly some slippers or pajama pants - depends what I find on my next shopping voyage
Love the idea of putting their own little hangover kit in each one, too! bottles of water and aspirin for everyone! lol

That’s so great! I love this. Do you think I can use my tote bags as their gift also even though they say bridesmaid on them and not their name? Maybe if I give them a robe and a necklace and some fun things inside them along with an emergency kit?

I love that! We are also giving our bridal party personalized hats and sunglasses and koozies for them to wear/use at the reception!

Just ordered boat totes from Land’s End! Great quality and tons of interior pockets so the totes themselves are actually part of the gift; Land’s End is doing 40% off all full priced items right now so the medium sized totes were only $16 each!!

I think they were all the light natural color but the straps and bottom come in a bunch of different colors!
