Has anyone had their maids’s wear foldable flats for BOTH the ceremony and reception?

I don't see the harm in it. I'm just asking my bridesmaids to wear whatever shoes they're comfortable in.

No, mine chose their own shoes. They had long dresses so it didn’t matter to me at all (I’m honestly not sure what any of them wore for shoes . There was a group chat about it but don’t know who decided what! Never saw their feet)

my concern with foldable flats is theyre not very supportive. might work for some people’s feet for a whole night, but might not be comfy for everyone. Tbh, I think you could dictate shoes for a ceremony & pics, but once you’re at the reception, the big deal photos are over so I wouldn’t worry about their footwear if they wanted to change.

I should rephrase the question. I’m mainly concerned about the ceremony. I’m attaching a picture of my sisters in the thread. I am a worry wart about everything wedding at this point and want everything to be spot on🙄. But what is your opinion of the shoes (pic attached) with their dresses^.

I think if they are going to wear flats the whole time you might as well go with regular flats rather than the foldable ones. The purpose of foldable flats is to be able to store them in a bag, but that won't be necessary if they aren't taking them off.

I agree that if you’re going to go with flats, go with real flats, not foldable ones. That way you have some foot support all day/night.

No, I didn't dictate their shoes. Just told them anything in a neutral color (nude/gold/silver/etc) - coudln't even tell you what any of them looked like.

Also, unless you know for a fact that your BM's like those I think they look suuuuuper uncomfortable.
