Bridesmaid separates?

Hi -

Has anyone done bridesmaid separates? If so, can you share pics or tell me how it turned out. I was thinking of picking out a skirt from azazie for everyone to order in the same color (navy), and then saying "Pick any blush blouse you want" to go with it but I've never really seen this look and want to make sure it'll look ok. I really want my girls in something slightly different than the norm with at least elements they can wear / use again. I've been brainstorming and this is my idea du jour. Any thoughts?

Bonus points if it's knee length!

I would suggest having them all order tops from the same place as well, even if they aren't from Azazie and don't match completely. That way the look will still be cohesive.

I believe BHDLN and ShopRevelry.com both offer separates.

I was thinking of this idea too. During what season will your wedding be in? Here are some pics. I'm having trouble seeing how to find a nice shirt that will match with it. The tulle are by themselves. Just that in pictures they give examples

I love this idea as well!! I have been searching for a picture but haven't found exactly what I want. I'm not a fan of the crop top or slinky tanks and that seems like all I can find! Maybe it's a sign? But I'm having the same thoughts on something they can wear again. Here are a few pictures that are close to what I was thinking.

Those are some of the inspo pics I've been seeing! Pinterest gonna pinterest...haha. I agree, they're *close* but not exactly what I'm envisioning. I think I may need to let this one go, because I definitely want something a bit different, but not too hyper trendy like crop tops, and some options besides just slinky tanks (one of my BMs I know really likes to wear sleeves, so would love to give her that option in some way)

I'm thinking the look we want may not be trendy enough since it's so hard to find it. But I love the skirts just wanting to see more sleeve options on different ranges of body types. It's like the only wedding vision I have that cannot be found on Pinterest or anywhere!
