Not at all. That was their decision on who they wanted to stand beside them. You should choose who you want without any obligations hanging over your head.

No. You are not required or obligated to have anyone in your bridal party unless you want them there.

I wouldn't. I was a bridesmaid in 2014 in a friend's wedding. I hadn't seen her since the wedding & she had never met my husband. We hadn't kept in touch. We didn't even invite her to our wedding because I hadn't spoken to her in so long.
