Bridesmaid proposal

Marissa, on May 29, 2019 at 9:17 AM Posted in Planning 0 20
Need inspiration for bridesmaid proposals. What did you put in yours?

side note: I know I don’t have to do them, but I want to.

I bought each of my girls robes with their respective "titles" (i.e., Maid of Honor, Bridesmaid), purchased a sparkly gold box, wrote a message on the lid, and positioned the robe in the box with the lettering facing up, so that the message would lead into: "Will you be my…"

I bought a magnetic keepsake box and put in homemade soap and sugar scrub with a candle of their favorite scent and their favorite candy, along with a wine glass and a mini bottle of wine. I also printed out little signs and taped them on the inside top of the box that said "will you be my matron of honor" or "will you be my bridesmaid". They loved them!

I am also getting champagne and putting a sticker on them I order (off Amazon of course) that says “I can’t say I do without you” then I wrote each a card! For my maid and matron I gave them an extra gift!

I’m just having a maid of honor and one bridesmaid, they’ve both known that they’re my bridal party since before the engagement. Since it’s already a given, I wanted to do something small for when “asked” them. I ordered a couple cute cards and hair ties off Etsy, and I’m getting “maid of honor” and “bridesmaid mugs for them.
I’m doing robes too, but that will probably be a gift closer to the day of.

I sent wood jewelry boxes with liquor shooters, nail polish, and hair ties that said "to have and to hold your hair back"!

I actually used mine as the thank you instead of proposal. ( I did that very simple with a personal card and each girls favorite snack. )

I put a monogrammed robe, my favorite facial spray, candle, personalized stemless flute and the jewelry I wanted the girls to wear that day, in a gift box that I also personalized. It was a fun project and they loved them.

I purchased small unfinished cigar boxes from Walmart. Had them send me their favorite pic of themselves. I decorated each box with their favorite color and pic. Inside it said I cant say I do without you. Then had something like construction paper coving the inside and it said will you be my Bridesmaid/MOH. In the box it had kisses chocolate, eco lip balm, ciroc liquor, ring pop, champagne toast lotion, lifesaver candy and the color swatch. The jr bridesmaids and flower girl also received boxes but with age appropriate things.

I used a white folding box, with white paper filler and had a luggage tag that read "it doesn't matter where you are going, it's who you have beside you that matters" a bottle of champagne, or sparkling water for those that were pregnant, and the Mario Badascu facial spray and a eucalyptus sprig. I ordered cute proposal cards from etsy. I'm giving them robes etc for the wedding day.

I got these awesome boxes on amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Bridesmaid-Proposal-Box-Premium-Bridesmaids/dp/B07F2Z5JGB?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_3

I filled them with mini champagne bottles from Total Wine and paper straws.

A facemask and a small candle in my favorite scent, flannel, from Bath and Body Works.

Homemade decorated sugar cookies, one diamond ring, on fancy square with our date.

And a set of info cards about their role, the colors, their dresses, etc.

I bought each of the girls a pair of earrings from Mexico where we got engaged, the movie bridesmaids and a card asking them to be a bridesmaid.

I’m going simple for the proposals, so that I can do more when it comes time to give them their gifts later on. I ordered cute cards from Canva that say “it’s my turn to pop the question” with a drawing of a balloon on it so I’ll write them a note on it and then attach each card to a mini bottle of champagne with a cute paper straw.

This is what I did. Got the photo box from Michaels, wine, candle, and candy from Wal-Mart, picture frame, facial, and the purple confetti stuff from Dollar Tree, and the wine glass from BB&B.

My dad made wooden boxes with their names engraved in them, and then I put lip gloss, a ring pop, a personalized tumbler from etsy, and our color scheme on the inside. They loved them!

I wrote each girl a very heartfelt card asking them what role I wanted them to fulfill. I ordered really inexpensive decals and made them personalized water tumblers, I threw in a ring pop, and customized Game of Thrones Tshirts. (we're all big fans)
