Bridesmaid & Mother's Robes

Hi ladies,

I've been looking into ordering robes for all the women that will be getting ready with me and I'm wondering what people normally order when it comes to color. Do you order the robes to match your wedding colors or do you order the robe in their favorite color? I think I would rather purchase the robe in their favorite color because it's a gift to them... What do you guys think or plan on doing?

I am going to order them pretty pink flowered ones without any wording on them so they can use them after the wedding if they want. I also think the pink flowered ones will look pretty in photos.

@Jennifer, love the flower ones as well! I'm thinking I'm going to purchase the robes with the lace around the arm sleeves and bottom. You are very right about the wording, I don't think I'm going to get their title embroidered on them either. I do think I'm going to get a monogram of their initials or their name embroidered on the front though.

Those robes are super cute! I am personally ordering them in all the same color. But, I am using them as a photo prop not as a gift. I am putting together small gift bags with some of their favorite things.

I ordered mine on etsy and sent everyone the options for colors/lace/monograms and let them pick what they wanted. So happy I did because my sister really wanted a pocket in the robe which I hadn't even thought of (and definitely wanted once she mentioned it).

@RachelS they are on Etsy from the seller EverlongEvents. The shop had great reviews!
