Bridesmaid Jewelry

Lainey, on March 16, 2009 at 2:00 AM Posted in Planning 1 22

Here's the deal. I have EIGHT bridesmaids, and I want to get each of them an inexpensive jewelry set as a gift (necklace and earrings)...and by "inexpensive" I mean, fairly cheap lol. 20 bucks doesn't seem like much, but when you times it by eight, it becomes ridiculous! Does anyone know of any sites with pretty jewelry for a low price?

Thank you!

Go with ebay !!! I have had great luck with it. Then you could get each one something different or all the same if you find a big vendor often if you find a vendor they can custom make something for you with your colors

Hi - I can help if you are still looking. All the bridesmaid sets on my site are $30 and under. I can give you a discounted package price if you find something you like since you have so many bridesmaids. I've got pearls, rhinestones, and color sets in the collection at the moment.

I also have a bunch of vendor catalogs I can look through to find you what you need if you can't find anything in my existing inventory.

    My website: http://www.greatdaybridal.com

Here are some reviews on the jewelry from other brides: http://www.projectwedding.com/vendor/show/great-day-fashion-accessories

    All the best -

    Rebecca

    ... one word: Claires

sounds horrible but depending on what claires or icing you go to some of the jewlery isn't that bad and you could probably get 8 of them. Plus you can see them in person first

Have you considered making them yourself? It's very easy and inexpensive, plus it gives a personal touch to your gift. I was able to make 4 illusion necklaces and 4 pairs of earrings for under $20. Message me if you have any questions on designs I could help you out.

Thanks again to all of you, ladies.

well the semi-good news is that I just dumped one of my bridesmaids so I have one less jewelry set to buy! lol

I actually haven't thought about making it myself! I used to make things like that all the time, so I probably still have my jewelry making kit somewhere. Who knows if I'll be any good at it, but it's definitely worth a shot!

    Thank you!

Check out my site, I've done many bridesmaid jewelry sets and most of my customers have 6 to 8 bridesmaids, as you said, it adds up quite quickly.

I can have jewelry sets with crystals and pearls, matching your colour scheme at $20 each, no problem.

******@****.***, you'll see feedback from my past customers. I just started a store front on this site as well.

    Thanks

For my wedding I found stuff for myself, bridal attendants, flower girl, cufflinks for the guys and the moms...at www.bourdagepearls.com. They are Real pearls and I got everything for $350. They have a lot of items in stock. I got a different style necklace for each of my 6 bridal attendants. The sales people were great in helping me decide what jewelry to put with all the necklines. They can custom make items as they have a jewelry designer and pearl stringer that can make things within a week!

Have you thought about doing some charm necklaces? Choose "supplies" on the drop down menu on Etsy's home page and search for sterling, freshwater pearls or charms. You can buy sterling chains in bulk as well as a freshwater pearl charm and perhaps an initial for each girl. I got married in Aspen, CO and bought Aspen leaf charms on sterling chains for all of my maids. They were beautiful, personal and relatively inexpensive. Just because it's pretty, doesn't mean it has to be expensive!
