Bridesmaid groomsman pairing

Jessica, on July 16, 2019 at 11:35 AM Posted in Planning 0 18
Hello,
I have 2 bridesmaid that are 19 years old and we have 2 groomsman that are 25 years old, is that 6 year age difference too much? My mom is saying that it is a big difference but I dont really see the big deal. HELP.

I don't see a problem with it- one of my bridesmaids is 28 and she's paired with someone who is nearly 40.

I don't think that's a big deal. Usually they just walk out of the wedding together. It's not like they have to date hahaha.

They’re walking down the aisle together, not marrying each other. I don’t see the issue.

They are both over 18, absolutely no issue at all. Also, they are just walking together for like 2 minutes tops.

It doesn't matter at all in my opinion. We are pairing my height for the recessional and entering the reception. That's the only times they are together.

Does she think they will be on a date? I am unsure of why this would even be questioned lol

Um.....I had my 14 year old sister walk with H's 32 year old friend (who has a daughter the same age as my sister btw). I dont think age is really an issue for this.

I don't think it's a big deal at all! Nobody is going to notice or make a big deal out of it (except your mom)

I don’t think it matters, they’re walking together for less than a minute and maybe standing next to each other in photos, not going on a date. It’s not a big deal

What difference does their ages make? All they are doing is walking together, and having pictures taken. It's not like you're setting people up on dates. Age shouldn't make any difference at all. Your bridal party should be the people closest to you and FH, regardless of age.

I don't see this being an issue. If that were me, I could care less of who I walked down the aisle with.

    Height is a good idea!

In the last wedding I was in, a tall groomsmen nearly dislocated my shoulder. Granted, he didn't know how to link arms with a woman.

If you're concerned, ask the BMs how they feel. Smiley smile

I don't see where age comes in to play here actually... Its not like they are being married off to each other lol. My youngest bridesmaid is 24 and oldest is 34 and in our grooms they all range from 21 to 26. I don't see where the age plays a role. I'd tell your mom thanks for the concern but its not a big deal.

Age doesn't matter. Height might! You don't want them towering over someone!

I don't see an issue with it - They're just walking down & out together. It's not like they have to spend any more time with each other.
