Bridesmaid gifts

Christina, on August 27, 2019 at 8:28 PM Posted in Planning 0 8
I have 8 bridesmaids. I’m having quite a hard time thinking of what to get all of them for gifts.
so far I’ve gotten Them make up bags with make up brushes jewelry for the wedding and glasses that say I do crew on them and thinking of getting them robes and slippers to wear the night of the wedding.
Is that enough to get them or are there other ideas of things I can get them?

If you’re having a hard time thinking of general ideas, you can always give them something personal to them. That’s what I did—everyone got a different present that was unique to them.

That's a good collection of things, but I think if you want to add or change anything, I'd include things that are specific to the girl and/or things they'll be able to use after the wedding that aren't just add-ins for cute getting ready photos.

I had 9 bridesmaids. For their proposal gift, I got them a jewelry box filled with nail polish, liquor shooters, and hair ties that said "to have and to hold your hair back". For their bachelorette favor, I got them hangover kits & wine tumblers and I paid for the entire dinner one night and a round of drinks both nights. For the day of the wedding, I bought breakfast & lunch, brought in a chair masseuse, paid for everyone's hair and makeup if they wanted it done, paid for transportation, and gifted each girl a tote, tumbler, fun pair of socks, a getting ready outfit (they picked out of a romper, short cotton waffle print robe, or long PJ shirt), and wrote them a letter.

Instead of more matching stuff (slippers and robes, etc) I would get them something more personal. Wine for the wine drinker, starbucks gift card for the coffee drinker, massage or mani/pedi certificate for the girly girl, stuff like that. I think they would really appreciate it more than "bridesmaid" type things.

Thats really thoughtful! I just went with the basics I hope they like everything. The wedding day slippers so they can change into them to dance, robes to get ready in, and hangers with their name date of the wedding and title, champagne glasses that say I do Crew, make up bags with makeup brushes and jewelry to wear on the wedding day. Think thats good enough?
