Bridesmaid gifts

I don't think it's weird! I actually think it's common for thank you gifts for wedding party to be given to them either at the rehearsal dinner or the day of the wedding.

Most people do give them a gift either the night before the wedding or the day of the wedding. Our plan is to put together gifts for our bridal party and parents and give them out at the rehearsal dinner along with a small little speech about how important each of them are to us.

Oh my! when did it become the norm to give loved ones a gift when asking them to be in the wedding party?

Proposal boxes are a new trend that many people don't do. However it's traditional and polite to give a thank you gift to all your attendants (including your fiance's) either at the rehearsal or the day of the wedding.

I gave my bridesmaids their 'proposal' gifts about 10 months out. I gave them their actual thank-you gifts on the day of the wedding, since we didn't have a rehearsal/dinner.

I plan on giving my bridesmaids their gifts at my bachelorette/lingerie party which is 4 days before the wedding. Still need to put together the groomsmen’s gifts & get our parents the picture frames

I did the proposal box (candle, lotion, note and travel size goodies because they are traveling for my wedding) then i just bought them a custom travel jewelry box then gifting them a piece of jewelry to wear the day of. Im giving it to them the day of. Its my way of saying thank you and a memorable item of the day

I did bridesmaid proposal boxes and I plan on giving them their bridesmaid gifts at the rehearsal. I think it's totally normal

Totally normal! I gave my bridesmaids their gifts the day of as well

Here is what I did for our bridesmaids proposal.. (I had an actual party for them), and on the night before the wedding I will give another which will include a personalized robe, pajamas, and a few other gifts. I also did cookies for the everyone including the flower girls.

It is traditional to give a gift to every member of the wedding party shortly before or after the wedding.
