Bridesmaid Gifts

You can never go wrong with a loving note and a gift card to their favorite place.

I'm paying for hair and makeup, bridal jewelry. Debating on a cute personalized glass for getting ready.

I wasn't a big fan as a bridesmaid of paying for all of that then getting a gift card that basically amounts to the same $ amount. I would have preferred just having that stuff paid for, so that's what I'm doing as a bride. Haha.

Oh and I did do the standard robes for getting ready lol. But I got those for my mom, future MIL, and sisters in law so 🤷🏼‍♀️

I paid for either hair or makeup for them and then got them a gift card and a hand written note. I have too many tumblers/robes/totes that end up in the back of a closet!

I found great Kate Spade makeup bags on sale a while back. I think there is a sale going on right now until 8/20. I also purchased some Origins skin care products for them.

I'm getting my girls gift baskets from Bath and Body Works!

Since my ladies are 18-11. I decided to for go the wine glasses. I went to Bathe and Body Works and got them some stuff. I also bought them their jewelry, a bag with their initial on it. I’m still looking for more items to add, just not sure what I want just yet!!!

Gift card for a store she knows i like, nice wine (with no glasses or tumblers), a book or B&N gift card, certificate for a massage or mani/pedi, maybe a couple classes at a gym i've been wanting to try. Personally, my fave gift is not having to purchase the dress/hair/makeup - I would so much rather not have to pay $$ to be part of your wedding than shell out a bunch of money and get a gift in return. But that's just me. As long as it's something individualized and you're actually thinking of me and my preferences - think think that's the most important thing.

I've received the crappiest BM gifts before - i'd rather get nothing but a thank you note than a cheesy gift that required no though (a single glass with my initials on it, a flimsy white lace scarf that all the BM's got, a makeup bag with cheap costume jewelry that was not even close to my style and everyone got the same, etc)

I gave my bridesmaids a painting. I wanted something different that would be a nice keepsake!

I got my BMs Kate Spade CC holders (they were on sale!), a champagne toast candle from B&BW, a gift card to their favorite place and a thank you note.

I gave my girls make up bags and they loved them. I'm planning on giving them spa/recovery kits for bachlorette weekend which will include, socks, cheers packs (the pills that help with hangovers), jammies, overnight face mask and the things to go under your eyes. I'm buying all this in small bits over time and it's helped with the cost of things!

Lady I totally agree! I would much rather receive something that had some thought put into it. Love the B&N gift card idea, I love books and all my bridesmaids do too! I am going to get them each something different that they will (hopefully) personally love. I am planning on paying for their hair and makeup, though, I am letting them pick their own dresses (just staying to a certain color scheme) so I don't feel too bad not paying for those. My wedding is next fall and I am thinking of getting them all cute/cozy shawls to wear for the ceremony since it might be chilly in mid-October.
