We're a two bride wedding party that has 6 bridesmaids, with two of them being the maid/matron of honor. We want to put together nice gifts for them, especially since we didn't do the whole bridesmaid proposal thing. We're doing personalized tote bags with personalized color coordinated robes for the day of. I want to add a wrap/shawl because it'll be cold in November when we get married, and a clutch for the wedding day as well. I can get them all in the same material and color as the dresses, so they'll match perfectly.
Should I just leave the wraps and clutches to the bridesmaids to purchase? Perhaps tell them these are the ones that match, purchase at will?
If we do give them the wraps and clutches, is the day of the wedding too late in the game? Should they be given earlier so they don't go and spend money on either of those items?
