Unless you're super careful and know what you're doing with silk, you're more likely to damage it. It'd almost be worth buying it premade. See if Etsy has better pricing than what you might see in brick and mortar stores.

We bought ours on amazon.. super easy and quick. I got the decal ones for my bridal party and my FW got ones without decals (she has an older crew).

Definitely don’t need to do that, I’ve seen them on Etsy for $15 and I’m sure you can find them cheaper elsewhere. Not worth the chance of ruining the robe

I looked on Etsy for “bridesmaids gifts” and they had some cheap robes and I’m pretty sure they could be personalized

I recently bought one robe from this seller to see if they were good before buying all of them, these were the cheapest I found (that didn't come from China for $5😬). I LOVE it!! True to measurements, I am plus sized so the sizing was one of my worries along with quality. Fits beautifully, lettering perfect. Lots of different color options and combos! Highly recommend! I will be purchasing all of my girls one!

Does it need a decal? I think a plain silk robe is totally fine.
