Bridesmaid gifts!

Hi everyone! I’m just a few weeks away from our big day and I have finally bought everything for my bridesmaids gifts. I’m gifting them either hair or makeup professionally done, pajamas, slippers, a lululemon belt bag, and earrings for the wedding day! Im kind of worried that they’ll go and buy earrings but I don’t want to ruin the surprise by telling them I got them earrings. I guess I have no choice?? 😬 Any thoughts on this???

    If you're expecting them to wear the earrings you're buying I'd tell them. I'd be upset if I bought jewelry to be in someone's wedding and then couldn't use it.

    If you are requiring that they wear these specific earrings for the wedding, then they are actually a prop as opposed to a gift. Which means that you need to tell them ahead of time, because otherwise they might buy their own earrings to wear and waste their money. Just let them know now that you will be providing the earrings (an email or group text should suffice)

    If you want them to wear the jewelry you picked, you need to let them know asap. Agree with Hanna that anything to be worn at your wedding for pictures are props for you instead of gifts for them.

    Agree with both posters. Anything you're "giving" to them to use at your event is more of a prop and less of a gift.

    Are you requiring them to have hair and makeup professionally done, or is it optional? Because if it is required, it's also not a gift, and you should pay for them to have both done. But it does all sound like a nice set of gifts!

    Hi please don't worry about that you can just tell them then when they open their gifts from you. If you wanted them to wear the earrings that you have gotten I'm sure that they won't mind. Congratulations on to you both on your upcoming wedding
