Bridesmaid Gifts Cost

I am trying to fit everything in my budget, so I am planning to spend $50 per person. I have 5 BMs. I am paying for their hair though.

We spent about $50 pp plus hair.

I want to say I spent around $50 each person altogether

I have about $40 budgeted for each- I have eight girls.

About $50 for each girl plus hair and makeup ($115) I only have 3 bridesmaids and they each paid for their own dress. They dont know I'm payingfor hair/makeup yet but as long as all goes as planned it's in the budget.

My gift primarily was that they didn't have to spend any money to be in my wedding - that doesnt' make sense to me. I paid for dresses, hair/makeup, lodging, etc. and then wrote them a nice thank you note with a small thank you gift (maybe $15?) for each of them.

We gave initial gifts ($25-$40) when we asked them to be in our bridal party. I will be covering HAMU for my girls, and then we will be getting them a gift the day of (budgeting around $50 for this).

I had 3 bridesmaids and spent almost $100 on each of their gifts (and also paid for their hair and makeup on the wedding day). By the way, one of them still gripes that I didn’t get her a bridesmaid proposal gift...
