Bridesmaid gift

I was thinking of getting mine pants similar to this and a plain button up top that I’ll add their initials to. I think comfy pants are a great idea. They’ll wear them to lounge around in after the wedding and it’s great to wear while you’re getting ready the day of.

I would not wear any item of clothing with my name or a title on it at anypoint except for pictures for a bride. Robe, sweatshirt, button up, sweat pants - all will be left in the hotel room after the wedding.

Comfy sweat pants are a wardrobe staple
for me. That literally all i wear at home. Having my name or something wedding wouldn’t bother me and i would 100% wear these again. I would never wear a robe again. Good thinking OP!

I half agree with Cassidy I would wear joggers again but not with a title or them! If they only had my name on them. If they said Bridesmaid or anything else I'd leave them behind!

This is a great idea! I agree with others that I wouldn't wear anything that said bridesmaid again though. I also never wore my robe again after being a bridesmaid but one of my friends got us PJs with our initials and I love wearing them. Maybe just put their initials on the sweats.

As soon as I get home from work from fall through winter I put on sweatpants so I don't see why not! I only wear a big long, cozy robe in the morning when I get ready for work! And the robes most brides give are just silky short, basically useless robes. Lol sorry not sorry. So I would absolutely wear sweats again. Good idea I say go for it!

Personally I would do their name rather than the title just so they can maximize how much they wear it, I find it’s wasteful to purchase things with a date and/or title.

I would just do their initials, this way they can wear it in public without strangers knowing their names.

If I were one of your girls, I would definitely wear these more than I would a robe. I think this is a great idea!

I’d wear these more than a robe, but I’d leave off the title stuff. I was just in a wedding, and to be honest I haven’t used anything because I feel silly wearing/carrying around something that says “bridesmaid” big on it.

The stuff I’m getting for the girls is personalized to them, but with no reference to the wedding.

I would wear the crap out of these! I love sweat pants. Seriously my favorite pair are my sweats from senior year.... in 2012... lol no shame I will wear them out but not everyone feels the same (clearly by PPs) so maybe just stick with their names

Could they say their names instead of bridesmaid? I'm a HUGE sweatpants fan, so I'd be pretty excited for these. But I would only wear them to bed if they said bridesmaid. I asked the girls if they would prefer a robe, long PJ shirt, or strapless romper (all black) for their getting ready outfit and they each picked among those!

I personally wouldn't ever leave a gift in a hotel room even if I didn't like it, especially an article of clothing that could be donated. But if I got a bridesmaid or MOH title piece of clothing, I'd just wear it to bed if it was comfortable. If it wasn't, I'd donate it so this may not be the case for her bridesmaids.

View Quoted Comment Same. I’m getting my girls each an individualized gift and a gift card to their favorite store. Anything meant for the wedding or a photo prop is not a gift imo. I’d probably save the item not to hurt feelings but unlikely to ever wear it again. It seems tacky to walk around wearing someone else’s wedding date and name on my body.

Where did you find these?? This is perfect for my two bridesmaids since they’re big into loungewear (and that’s all we wear when we hang out!)
