Bridesmaid Earrings

I’ve just asked them to wear something silver based metal, diamond, or pearl that is simple and complements the dress they picked! They (and myself) all have multiple ear piercings so we all have a lot of jewelry already.

If I were a bridesmaid and a bride bought me earrings, there is a 90% chance I would not wear them. I have SUPER sensitive ears, I generally have to clean earrings (even white gold ones) and my ears prior to wearing any. I told my bridesmaids to wear whatever shoes & jewelry & nails they feel best in.

I will not be buying any earrings for my bridesmaids. My MOH is super sensitive for earrings and types of metal; I don't want to risk it. I will be buying them a necklace as a gift.

I was going to buy earrings but then decided not to because I know one of my bridesmaids used to have metal allergies when she was in high school. Not sure anymore. But I figured I couldn’t really afford super good quality jewelry for everyone.

I did as another PP said, let them choose as long as it was a simple style.

I don’t personally care what kind of earrings my friends wear, if any.

I have no intentions on picking out my bridesmaids jewelry. I'm letting them wear whatever they want.

Anything that I didn’t plan on buying, I let them pick whatever they wanted.

My girls are responsible for their own accessories and shoes. I don't want to buy them something they will never use again. I don't care if they are studs, hoops, drop earrings..

I'm letting them choose whatever jewelry they want to wear. I'm paying for their hair and make up so that took up most of my budget for gifts. I also haven't worn any of the jewelry I was gifted for previous weddings I was in, so I don't want to waste money on something they will only wear once.

I bought jewelry for all the gals, but just because I found something I really liked and feel like will like as a well. Because of the girls have different necklines and not all of them have pierced ears I have two necklaces, one set of earrings, and two sets of hair pins. Here's the necklace and the earrings. It's an aspen leaf for a little touch of my favorite state of Colorado, the hair pins are being custom made with the leaf as well.

It's totally up to you about whether you want to buy something for them or let them choose their own jewelry.

I’m just letting them pick their earrings. I bought them necklaces and bracelets for the wedding so I told them just to wear gold earrings of their choice! Plus some of my bridesmaids don’t have their ears pierced and some have senstitive ears!

My girl are all in floor length black satin. Doing a Halloween wedding with a Victorian gala theme. Maid of honor is in a sweetheart neckline and will be in gold jewelry with white stones and other girls are in halters so earring and bracelets and a belt in silver with grey tone stones with more punch and size since they have halters on . MoH didn’t want a belt even though I think it would look nice so yeah. But these are pics of the stuff for my girls. My MoH is also super simple and almost never wear jewelry other than simple earrings. So I’m pushing her a lil to glam it up. Her necklace will probably be the blingiest thing she’s ever worn. Lol.

I’m giving them the choice for jewelry and shoes. I just told them a color to shoot toward.

I think it depends. For instance when my sister got married she gave us each earrings but she knew us all well enough to know we could wear them again. That being said, I haven’t reworn those earrings but only because they’re fancier than what I could wear normally.
I do plan on buying my ladies earrings, but I know what they like and know they’re not super sensitive. They won’t be super expensive earrings, and I won’t know/be offended if they never wear them again.

I am I know girls are comfortable with different ratings.

I'm allowing mine to wear whatever jewelry they prefer including shoes. Even their hair & make up. I want to be more easy going with them and not possessive & I've seen people like that before.

I let my girls know they can wear whatever shoes and jewelry they want. Nothing wrong with giving them direction if you have a preferred look.
