Bridesmaid Dresses

Check on the turnaround time from the store or website that you're shopping from. That will tell you when they need to order.

I’m also getting married on that date! We’re going bridesmaid dress shopping on 11/16/19 at the bridal salon where I bought my wedding dress. I already looked at their bridesmaid dresses there the last time and loved them, so I’m confident the girls will order their dresses on that date. Sometimes dresses take months to order then they need to get altered so with our wedding 9 months away, I’d say to start shopping and it’ll be one thing off the to-do list

My wedding is in 3 1/2 months and I had my bridesmaids order their dresses last week. The style they chose will only take until 12/5/19 to come in, but others would've come in after our wedding date. I would check the DB website, they can give you can estimate that way. Also ask the attendants when you go which styles will be able to come in before your date. I would recommend going about 4-6 months out.

Thanks all!! I will be contacting Davids today! I just want to do it quick enough. I am thinking by at least February. My bridesmaids don't have to have the same dresses... I gave them all the choice just has to be the same color and long! Plus, 2 of my girls are from the UK, so I am unsure if their time would be any different than ours!

Most of the girls had theirs by Christmas. My sister-in-law waited until closer to the wedding because she was trying to get pregnant. She ordered hers in April and it came within 2 weeks. Shortly afterwards the dress was special order and would have taken months to come in so I was glad she ordered it when she did.

They should order around Feb/March 2020. David's does sales pretty often. I went with my bridesmaids Jan 2018 and the weekend we went they had 20% off

Based on my experience, if David's Bridal bridesmaid dresses are "in stock" online it only takes about 2 weeks for delivery, but if they aren't, it can take up to 3.5 months. I looked at the styles my bridesmaids picked and it seems like they are all in stock, so I haven't yet told them a date to buy it by, although it may be cheapest on Black Friday. They do frequently have 20% off sales too.
