I’m having trouble deciding what colors to go with & I need to decide soon! I would like the bridesmaids in lilac but the fiancé wants the groomsmen in navy. So asking what you guys think of lilac & navy together or should I push for the groomsmen to be in black?

    I think the contrast of lilac and navy is gorgeous, and well-suited for May. To me, black seems more appropriate in cooler/winter months, unless it's a super formal/Black tie affair (with all that entails...).
