Bridesmaid Dresses

Sydnie, on February 15, 2021 at 2:59 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 12

I am having only 2 girls in my wedding, one lives in texas while the other one lives herer in pa with me, but she has kids. i thought purchasing a dress with an online store would be best, but the mother friend is now asking if there were any stores we could buy their dresses from but besides david's bridal i cannot think of any other chain store that I would want them to buy from. I just want floor length, chiffon burgundy dresses and they can do whatever neckline they want.

I would just tell them to go to davids bridal but they don't have burgundy and all other colors similar to it have more purple than red in them.

Tell them to try azazie. They have a wonderful return policy. And all the dresses will be the same shade, if that’s important to you.

Purchasing a dress online probably is best in your situation. I'm assuming she's worried about the dress not fitting if ordered online? Azazie has a try at home feature ($10 per dress), so you can order several samples of different styles, colors, and sizes and have her try them on before committing to a dress.

Find a kind you like. Look in the designer website for find a store or retailers. It will list every salon in your area that carries that brand.
One Salon may carry All 3 jasmine, allure, morilee, up to 8 or ten brands.

Look at Azazie. They have an at home try on option! Our bridesmaid's dresses came from Azazie and I cannot say enough great things about them.

Originally I did want them to azazie, but shes doesn't know what style she would like. Should her and I go shopping with her to just try on dresses to see what she likes then order on azazie?

I want them to get something they like and affordable as well.

I think that’s a good idea. She could see for herself in person what some of the styles online may look on her body type.

I have 2 bridesmaids in TX and 3 here in my area. I decided to go with David's Bridal so everyone could go in and try on dresses in their locations.

If you don't go that route, I think Azazie and Cocomelody has good dresses as well.

There is no replacement for trying on some dresses of different styles. People's sense of what their bodies look like changes over time, so she likely needs to try on different kinds. It also means you can see real colors on her, not color swatches. Sometimes a bride sees a BM in a color ( often deep reds and pinks) that seam to change their looks, and Bride changes the color for that one, or both BM .

While there aren't other chains, there are national designers available everywhere that they can try on locally at any bridal shop.

Azazie and Cocomelody both have a try on at home program but you need to know what styles and colors flatter your body first. And no two people are the same in that respect.
