Heyy ladies, when should I make sure all my bridesmaids have their dresses by? I’m getting married in October 2020 and while all my bridesmaids do have their dresses my maid of honor doesn’t.. shes being complicated saying we have so much time and I need to relax that it’s not necessary right now. Am I planning way to soon?

I would order bridesmaid dresses around 3-4 months before the wedding. Most dresses take a month max to come in, but it depends on where you get it from. 7 months out is a little early in my opinion.

It depends on production time. A lot of places have increased there production time due delays from the coronavirus. We are ordering dresses from Azazie, I was told by customer service the latest my girls should order is in May for my wedding in September. Production time is 9 weeks right now and then it ships. I would say having an idea of what they should be looking for and what type of dress they need to order should be figured or starting to figure out, but I think there is time to order before needing to start worrying about it.

As long as they have them by the wedding, that’s all that matters.

It depends on the shop they are ordering from, I chose Azazie and they averaged a little less than a month so one of my bridesmaids ordered in late May and had her dress by late June for our July wedding.

I'm also getting married Oct. of 2020! I have all my girls dresses picked out and told them to order between April and May because we are getting them all online (showmeyourmumu.com) I like that they have the online bridal suite where you can compare everything together and it makes everything so easy! Especially when three of my maids live in completely different states! haha But some of them have already purchased them! I say, why wait?

I Think It Depends. My BM's Have Their Colors Swatches Already, And Theyre From Davids Bridal If Thats Where They Decide To Go. As Long As They Have Them Before The Wedding Thats All That Matters To Me

Ill say by April May start setting the date. I waited kinda too late and my bridesmaid dresses coming 3 weeks before my wedding not so happy... It depends where u order from color and possibly the style.

I'm also an October 2020 bride and we went about a week ago to pick out their dresses. We purchased them from the bridal boutique I bought my wedding dress and they let us know it would take 4 months! I didn't even realize it would be that long so I'm glad we did it early. Plus the dresses may need alterations so that gives time for that as well.
