Bridesmaid Dresses

Bryanna, on May 22, 2019 at 6:18 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9
Hi guys! I am going crazy trying to figure out the situation of bridesmaid dresses. My bridesmaids are scattered around, so I assumed David’s bridal would be the easiest bet..but I’ve begun hearing horror stories about others experiences. I began looking around, and can’t seem to find another place to find affordable dresses in stores. And can’t seem to get all the girls together to go look. Any help??

When I initially started looking at bridesmaids dresses, I was concerned about David's Bridal. My girls and I went to some small places for dresses, but the stores we went to didn't have a lot of options and most were more expensive than we wanted to spend or not in the color I wanted. We had told them the color, length, and price range prior to going there and they had told us they had a lot of options which was true if we wanted to just order the dresses from a book without the girls trying them on which isn't what I wanted. Needless to say we ended up going to David's Bridal. They were able to try on a lot more dresses within their price range and that came in the color I wanted. My girls had no problems with their dresses. In fact, they arrived about 2 months before they had told us. However, I will say for my brother's wedding we got our dresses from David's Bridal and they sent me the wrong size dress, but they were very easy about it. I sent it back and had the new dress in the correct size within approximately 1 week.

We had a great experience with David’s Bridal. All my girls found their dresses there. Azazie can send you dresses to try on I believe?

We used Azazie, which worked great because my bridesmaids were scattered all over the place too. You can get it custom made to your size. Would definitely recommend them over David’s Bridal

We went to David’s bridal and had a wonderful experience. I had my 5 girls and my FMIL there looking for dresses. They were so helpful and we found a dress that day. They were told it would take 3-4 months for the dresses to come in and they all came in within 3 weeks. I would give them a shot if there are multiple locations around if your girls can’t all go together.

I have one girl who is local (in the Midwest) and the rest live up and down the West Coast. We are using Azazie.

My bridesmaids were scattered around the country as well. And we used David's Bridal and had ZERO issues. They all ordered their dresses online based on the measurements given on the website. Only two of them even set foot in a store - and that was where they had anything close to "issues." (Rude employees, rushed appointments, etc.) My girls all had their dresses earlier than expected, the quality was great, and we had no problems with alterations (2 needed them through DB, the rest either didn't need any or got them done elsewhere). You'll hear horror stories about every store if you look hard enough - but David's is fine. If that's what you'd like to use, it really is easy.

I used Azazie. I have 9 bridesmaids in 5 states, all shapes/sizes/ages/styles. It's worked super well!
