Bridesmaid dresses other than David’s Bridal

Sarah, on April 9, 2018 at 6:20 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
Hi! Looking for suggestions on bridal stores for my bridesmaids as we are coming up on our deadline soon. I know there’s a ton of online stores out there (which I’m not totally opposed to however I know this can be dangerous if you really don’t know you size or store). I was hoping to find another universal bridal shop like David’s Bridal that my bridesmaids could go to try on their dresses - as they all live in different cities/states. Thanks! (Nothing against David’s Bridal I just haven’t really found any dresses there that I’m in love with).

Also, would coordinating “mixed and matched” dresses be too difficult to do? My one bridesmaid asked if colors cross over to different shops and I said I would have assumed no as they all carry their own colors.

I second BHLDN. They're size chart is pretty spot on, and I believe you can even order dresses to try on. They have spectacular mix-and-match dresses! I suggest looking on their site, even if you don't order. They have some amazing scheme's to drool over! Smiley surprise

    Good luck to you!

Brideside.com! When you sign up they pair you with a style consultant who can provide recommendations to you based on your wedding style/vision. They have show rooms in a handful of cities or you can rent samples to be shipped to your house to try on. As for color matching, yes, there will variation by designer. If you want matching colors it’s best to pick the same designer and fabric and then mix the necklines or shape of the dresses.

Depending on how formal you are going I heard Macy's has some nice ones. You could also pick a designer so to say and see if bridal shops in their town carry that designer so they pick them out and try them on.
