Opinions.. how much is “too much” for bridesmaid dresses? I don’t want my ladies to pay “too much”.

Yes! My MOH is also unsure now but more ao because of covid travel restrictions than because of the money.

Depends on your bridesmaids and their financial situations. If you are concerned, you could always ask them what their budget is. I tried to keep mine under $150, as that is what I have paid in the past for other people’s weddings.

Most people I've spoken to expect to pay around $150 or less. I also think that's a comfortable area for most. But as others said, definitely reach out to each bridesmaid and see what they feel comfortable spending. Smiley smile I had 2 MOH's and one had a budget of $300, whereas the other one definitely wanted to keep the cost down because she had just lost her job, etc.

I say anywhere from $75-175 is modest.

$200-300 is the average cost. (I worked in a Bridesmaid Boutique for roughly 2 yrs).

Anything over $300 is just way too much. You have to consider their hair, makeup, shoes, jewelry, and spa/grooming prep before the day. They too will have quite a bit expenses. It goes back to whether or not you end up selecting a designer dress or your staple dress from an online retailer like Azazie.

Bearing in mind that you may never wear it again, I would not spend more than $100.

I talked to my girls individually about price points and what they felt comfortable with! I'm wanting them to get their dress from Birdy Grey. They can pick whatever style they want, as long as it's the same color! Their dresses are $99 which is the price point the girls all agreed on!

As long as you speak with them about a price point before you fall in love with a style you want, you'll be fine!

Cocomelody and Azazie have the same try at home program with most under $100 and a larger variety of dresses.

Azazie was another company I looked at, but all the girls loved BG's site and dresses! I know my mom is looking at MOB dresses on Azazie though!
