Bridesmaid dresses - how far in advance ?

Just curious .. I have my dress ordered already for my 1.7.17 wedding but I was wondering how soon do I need to start looking for bridesmaids dresses ? Thank you !!!

I just went to pick my girls dresses this past weekend. My wedding is 10/1, my shop recommended having the girls order by the end of April so that the dresses will be in by end of August so they can do alterations.
The bridal shop consultant said they need about 12-14weeks to come in.

It really depends on where you're thinking of getting the dresses from. If it's a department store or Target, the dresses generally don't take as long to arrive after you order them.

My wedding is 5/21/16. My maids tried on and ordered their dresses 11/28/15, and two just came in a week ago! The other two are scheduled to come in 2/22, and 3/11. So I'm glad we went in early, because I was kind of surprised at how long it's taking them to come in. I was told it would take 3 months for them to come in.
