Bridesmaid dresses from David's Bridal

Dec or jan would be best. My wedding is jan 23, 2010 we are ordering bridesmid dresses next week sometimes it can take 12 weeks for the dresses to come in.

Its best if all of them order at the same time so that there are no difference in the dye lot.

I would go no later than december. and of course you want the same lot of fabric to avoid color differences.

My wedding is July 3, 2010 and I asked them when the absolute latest was that I could order and they said NO later than 6 months out. So you're looking at October.

I made a post about this same topic a couple of days ago! Im planning on having my girls order their dresses in the next month or two..my wedding is in June..They explained it was better to do it early.

I just ordered bridesmaids dresses from Davids for a freinds June 2010 wedding and they will be here in Sept. It only take a few weeks to get bridesmaids dresses in.

Don't do ordering around the holidays if you can avoid it. My BM and MOH freaked when I suggested November...but their biatches (no longer in my wedding b/c of drama).

We ordered a bridal gown in January and they warned us about a delay due to Chinese New Year and the extended holiday workers would be taking. Sure enough, dress arrived in April for a May wedding which was okay, but made for a tight squeeze to do portrait shoot and alterations. One shop told my daughter to order her bridesmaid dress two months out because she was pregnant and they wanted to wait on measurements and she literally got her dress 4 days before the wedding...nerve wracking, but I guess in the end it didn't matter. Had bridesmaids order dresses separately and saw no difference in colors.

You can always order online from DB too. They will ship within a week usually. And you will be able to return within 14-21? days?, as long as it's not from their outlet section. But you will have to pay for shipping.

I just ordered my dresses from David's bridal this past weekend and they said they'll be in within the month. But you want to make sure you have time for alterations as well.

I ordered all my dresses from DB back in Feb. For my Oct. Wedding. We had the dresses by early April. So the dresses come pretty quick but u have to remember once the dresses come in u take them so u have to bring them back if u want alterations or anything from them. I took mine for alterations July 23 and won't get it back until about Sept. 2.
