Bridesmaid Dresses- anyone tried Bella Bridesmaids?

ewg116, on February 1, 2017 at 8:01 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 2

8 bridesmaids, 8 different dresses in 3 different colors from 2 different dress designers. I went to Bella Bridesmaids initially and picked out the dress colors/fabrics, but since all the dresses are different is there really any benefit to doing it through them? Has anyone had positive/negative experiences working with them? All of my bridesmaids are spread out across the country, 2 are overseas, so if anything I guess it's good to have a brick-and-mortar store nearby for the BMs in the US. Just wondering if I should let my BMs order the dresses whichever way or if Bella's is worth it if the dresses are all different?

So we're using Bella Bridesmaids and their ordering can be a little tricky. They charge a $25 fee to ship the dress anywhere other than the actual store for pickup. This means those out of state (or country) BMs will be paying another $25 on top of the dress cost. They told me that I should order them all from one store because if one BM ordered from a different Bella location the color might not be consistent. I don't really understand why that would be since it's a color by a certain designer... but it doesn't sound like color is an issue for you so your BMs could easily order from different places.

P.S. If you find any other places that offer better prices on Amsale, let me know! I just haven't found anywhere cheaper so I'm sticking with them for now.

@islandgirl not better prices, but better ordering/returning possibly, I got my Amsale BMs from Nordstrom. Allowed the girls to order as many sizes as they wanted and return what didn't fit. Plus I think Nordies does free alterations. I wasn't convinced on the whole "dye lot" thing and my girls are all over US/world which is why I went through Nordstrom.
