Bridesmaid dress website

Alyssa, on May 16, 2022 at 3:15 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 12
Hey y’all!!

My bridal party is from all over the place so it’ll be easier to just let them order their dresses. I wanted to give them free reign but after ordering swatches from different websites, I noticed the same color swatches look different so now I’m thinking I’ll have to give them one website to choose from and just let them choose their dress.
Cheaper the better! Preferably under $100. And must accept returns/exchanges! So far the two I have are Kennedy blue and birdy grey.
Thanks in advance!

Azazie is another popular option. I think narrowing it down to one site is a reasonable ask so the colors are consistent unless you're able to find two matching colors from two different places. The dress my bridesmaids liked was from Kennedy Blue as well!

Oh my gosh. Azazie advertisements have been all over my social media since the day I posted our engagement and I still managed to forget about them. Thank you!!

Lol you're welcome! I hadn't heard about them until I came here. I really liked one of their dresses, and it sounds like they have a really neat option to try different styles/ sizes before buying, but my girls liked the Kennedy Blue option, so that's what we did.

My bridesmaids ordered from Kennedy Blue. Since I had a shorter engagement, I did have to pay for rush shipping in order for the dresses to come in time for them to be altered. The color matched what I thought and the dresses themselves are pretty. The only problem was it didn’t fit my MOH as well since she is curvier than the other girls. It’s altered to the point where she can wear it but it’s still not the best fit on her. All that to say, I would just keep in mind that all the girls are different sizes and order them well in advance so they can switch it out if the style isn’t the best. Are there David’s Bridal stores near all the girls? If so, that could be another good option since the girls can see what the dresses look like in person. 😊

I second the Azazie recommendation. I didn’t use them myself, but I have friends who did. I also highly recommend that you just collect the cost of the dresses from all the bridesmaids and out the order in all at once to ensure the dresses come from the same lot and do not differ slightly in color. One of my friends that I’m a bridesmaid for is doing this, and my own shop that I had my bridesmaids get their dresses from did this as well to ensure the color shade. Apparently that can happen with stock supply even if you are ordering from one company.

Azazie has the same color swatches as Cocomelody which is higher end and both have the try on at home program, plus many are ready to ship. Azazie is also mostly under $100. Have you checked David’s as well? They often have sales. Be aware whatever you pick will only be worn 6 hours maximum before being donated.

There is one about an hour from me but my girls are from all over the place and I don’t want to make them get plane tickets or drive long distance for a dress. 🥲 plus when I looked at David bridal online they were expensive!! Kennedy blue is one of the websites I have saved. I do have one curvier friend in the wedding party so it’s good to know that she had trouble finding a good fit

Yes, that’s why the cheaper the better. Nothing worse than paying a lot for something you’ll only wear one time.

What color are you looking for specifically? Have you ordered swatches from all the bridesmaid websites? Revelry, Azazie, David’s, etc? Also be open to the countless major labels at a local bridal shop which are available nationwide: for example Bill Levkoff, Watters, Moro Lee, Bari Jay, just to name a few.

That’s too bad! They’re in 49 states so I thought maybe there would be stores closer to them. I think Kennedy Blue would still work. Honestly I let my bridesmaids pick out their own styles so it could just be that my MOH picked out a style that wasn’t best for her. 😅

My vote is for Birdy Grey! My bridal party ordered their dresses from there and they look great. One of my friends ordered her dress before my original date in 2021, then busted the zipper this winter. She contacted them to see if there was anything she could do besides fixing it herself and they replaced it for her without issue, months after she bought it! So we’ve had a really great experience overall.
