Bridesmaid dress style

Very few bridesmaids dresses have lace, so I wouldn't worry about that too much. I would think about the climate and what your ladies would feel most comfortable in -- if your wedding is in August, then shorter dresses might be appropriate. Do you have a color scheme? That's another obvious place to start, you can have them all wear the same color or give 2–3 to choose from. (I recommend same color for a small bridal party, mix and match for a larger party.)

As the bride you're entitled to ask for whatever you want!

I think something plan would look nice with your dress. The other option is a little bit of lace, to tie in. For eg, something like this:

My matron of honor (1) and bridesmaids (3) all picked out this one (and David’s Bridal has several “flutter sleeve” options with or without a slit). I only asked that they look at long dresses and in Wine or Dusty Rose, and surprisingly they all loved this one in Wine (looks darker, more of a deep wine/burgundy, in person). My wedding dress doesn’t have any matching elements to their dresses, unless you count the length 😂
