let them choose a bunch of dresses that fit a general silhouette I had in mind but also kept an open mind that they might want to wear different styles. This is my second marriage and I’m in my mid 40s. My bridesmaids range in age from 19 (my daughter) to 50. Within an hour they picked one dress they all love that looks great on everyone! I have two Matrons of Honor and my daughter is Maid of Honor. We might add an embellishment to their dresses to set them apart. BM/MOH dresses will be white - I’m in ivory.
AND since I ordered my dress from the same shop, they brought out a sample for me to try on alongside theirs! I love my dress so much more than when I first picked it and I am so much more excited now about having them by my side on our big day! (This is me with my daughter/MOH in the pic)
