Bridesmaid Dress Material

Jamie, on September 20, 2017 at 4:02 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 7

For my girls I have just picked out the color, length of the dress, and designer which is the David's Bridal brand. What I am having a hard time deciding on is the fabric. I keep going back and forth between the Mesh and the Chiffon. We are having a casual garden wedding in March but it is at sunset. I am just having my girls pick their favorite style in the collection. However I do need to finalize the material. Does anyone have opinions on which of these fabrics photographs better or just looks or feels better? I do want my girls to be comfortable too.

Why don't you have your girls try both on and decide which they are comfortable with?

I always loved the flowy look of chiffon dresses. They photograph beautifully plus the material looks great on all different body types.

My girls are wearing chiffon, they liked the look and feel of it better.

Chiffon isn't always comfortable to be in for long periods of time.. it is a more structured material so it isn't as flexible when it comes to sitting but when standing it flows beautifully

mesh and chiffon will photograph very similar so you don't have to worry about that

Mesh can be a little heavier feeling but it is breathable and stretchy and comfortable to sit and dance in

There are WAY more mesh options at Davids then any other fabric so consider that if you have a lot of girls

I would suggest having them try them both on and see what they prefer different body types will feel differently about the fabric

I worked there for a while I hope that helps!
