Personally, I'm not into anything that has my name on it, but stick hockey or Batman (things I LOVE) on anything and it'll be a hit!!
(I was once gifted a Batman happy meal cup and almost cried cause I loved it so much ❤)
So I'd say go for the interests and personality thing!

Is cross stitch a thing for them or just for you? This is definitely a case of know your BM's. It's not my taste, but they might love it.

I'm doing this! I found my patterns on etsy (they have instant downloadable patterns that you can get as soon as you pay in PDF format). One BM I'm doing a baking themed one that matches the colors of her kitchen, because we spend a lot of time cooking together. The other is a mountain camping theme because that's how she met her FH.

Just remember these are very time intensive, labor of love projects so allot a good chunk of time for them!

I would personalize them based on personality and interests.

I’ve never seen this, but I LOVE the idea! Personally, I love floral designs, but a subtle personal touch could be nice as well. I love hand made gifts.

If you have the skills to do something that matches them do it all the way. If you are just learning stick with a flower pattern for all the girls. I am a huge fan of needle work so I am so in love with this idea. Please post photos of how it turns out.
