Bridesmaid and Groomsmen drama

Jenifer, on February 19, 2020 at 7:10 PM Posted in Planning 1 12

We got engaged December and we haven't even had our engagement party and there already drama. A groomsmen called my Fiancee saying he doesn't want his "GF" in the wedding and if she is then hes out. Mind you he's telling us this while she has no clue he even wants to break up.

Was his girlfriend a consideration for bridesmaid? Either way I would let him know that he does not dictate what you two do and if he does not want to be a groomsmen in regards to being their for his friend then he can step down. I know that's his friend but that is some high school mess right there.

Yes his girlfriend is actually my friend. It turned into a heated argument with him and my Fiancee. It's honestly unnecessary drama. I can only imagine what else would happen these next two years.

I am sorry but he is a grown man so even if he does not care for her he needs to be there for his friend. It is up to your fiance but I would have a serious talk about that mess. I am so sorry.

Yeah that is none of his concern. It’s not his wedding, id say grow up about it or lose your spot 🤷🏻‍♀️He doesn’t get to pick details of YOUR wedding.

We are having the same high school drama going on too, I told all of them to grow up & get over it or they can be removed from the wedding party and/or the guest list. I have no time 🤷🏼‍♀️

I agree! No one in the bridal party has a say of who should/shouldn’t be included. It’s not their day, it’s yours. If he has such a big issue with it, he can sit down with the other guests.

Agree your day not his. tell him it is your choice and she is in and he can decide himself out if he wants to but you will be disappointed since you thought highly of him enough to ask him to be included. he hopefully will feel like a heal and grow up.

For real! He needs to be there for his boy and put his drama aside.
