Bridesmaid and groomsmen colors!?

So I’m a bit stumped on what colors to have the bridesmaids and groomsmen wear. I had originally wanted to have the girls wear taupe but FH wants to wear a suit this color and he feels their dresses would be too close.
I wanted the guys to wear brown but fh wants them to wear gray. I then thought maybe a rust color but since he wants gray for the guys I think it wouldn’t go. What colors should we go with?? We want the guys to wear suspenders too. We’re having a rustic theme wedding in the fall. Any suggestions?
