Bridesmaid alterations

I've never had anything more complicated than a hem done to a bridesmaids dress, which was <$50.

I’ve had hems on formal gowns (not my wedding gown) up to $100. It depends on what’s being done and how many layers it is and how complex the design is.

I got my bridesmaid dress altered at David’s bridal. Had length taken off and had it adjusted in the chest. It was $130!

I had a hem length adjusted and the waist taken in on a bridesmaids dress and it was little over $100 at DB.

I just had a BM dress taken up at David’s Bridal and it was about $80 just for the hem

I would find a local seamstress besides db. I ever they overcharge alot

Last wedding I was in, it cost $60 for me to get it hemmed and the straps taken in.
