Brides With Piercings

Carly, on December 19, 2019 at 8:54 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11
Hello all!

I’m getting married in September and I have a question to all my pierced brides out there. What are you doing/did you do on your wedding day? Are you getting special jewelry? Taking them out? Leaving them be? I’m mostly talking about earrings as I plan on keeping in my nose ring. Any input is appreciated!
Happy planning!

I have my ears pierced 4 times on one side and 5 on the other. I worn a hoop in the top piercing. I worn studs in the back three and dangling diamond earrings in my front piercing. The diamond earrings were my first Christmas gift from my husband.

I had a few piercings on each ear and decided to go with no necklace and wear fun dangling earrings for my first hole, then diamond studs for all others through my ear. For me personally for the close up shots I’d rather see a stud in the ear over a hole, but that’s also me. I like to think it’ll look classy but fun which is what I want the wedding to be! So do you!

    Hey Carly!

What feels most natural to you? I feel that if you have your earrings in every day, then you should keep them in. You should absolutely feel like yourself on your wedding day.

Do you typically change out your jewelry? It might be nice to get some special wedding day to make it a little more dressed up than a usual day.

I have my first two lobe piercings on both sides and then my tragus and helix on my right ear. I plan on wearing dangle earrings in my first hole, diamond studs in the second hole, the same CZ stud I always have in my tragus and haven't really decided about the helix. Considering taking it out, but I may just put another stud there. Either way I don't think it'll matter much because I'm planning on a half up half down hairstyle

I'm struggling with this as well! I decided for my lobes and cartilage piercings, three on one ear seven on the other, I will probably just do small CZ studs or silver balls with silver dangle hoops. But I have no idea what to do with my double tragus, helix, or rook. (I went through a phase where my dad told my I couldn't get piercings, so I did it anyway.) I honestly just might leave what is there since I plan to have my hair half up half down and I don't know if people will be able to see it.

I have several cartilage and double lobe piercings. My FH bought me gorgeous vintage style larger studs for my main piercings (gold, white, grey, and black). Wearing small black studs in the second piercings. Getting gold and black piercings for the cartilage ones to match. I've had them for years. Them and my tattoos and dyed hair are part of me.

That sounds lovely! I have a lot of piercings in my right ear and only love piercings (only one of which I generally wear) on my left. I’m going to wear the diamond earrings my grandmother gave me on my 16th birthday as my main earrings I think. The rest I’m thinking I’m going to get tiny diamond studs so they sparkle but don’t make my ear look too busy/distracting.

Nice cartilage earrings are so expensive though!! May have to get some fake ones that I just wear for the night 😂

    Still open to suggestions though!

I definitely am going to keep something in, I never change them out because it’s a pain in the ass haha. I think I’m going to switch out my hoops/larger jewelry with much smaller, matching “diamond” studs so it’s less busy.

Try Etsy! I got a titanium ring for one of mine for 10 dollars. Have worn it every day for five years.
