Brides with illusion back dresses!

RiceAndRoses, on July 11, 2016 at 8:46 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5

I was told by the dress shop that there would be a bra that would work with my dress (off the shoulder and illusion back). When I showed the sales woman at the lingerie store a picture of my dress, she said that the only bra I can wear is a sticky bra! Ugh. I'm a D, and I know the dress store can sew in cups, but I know I'm going to feel uncomfortable with it (with people helping me into my dress and I'm afraid it won't be supportive enough).

I was wondering what kind of bra you have to/had to wear with your dress. Did you find a bra with a low enough back? If so, where did you go?

I am a DDD and have sew in cups! If your dress is fitted at the top, it shouldn't be a problem.

I was told the same thing last weekend by my lingerie lady and I'm really uncertain. My dress has cups and can be altered to go without I guess, but I've NEVER not worn a bra in public outside of wearing a bathing suit since I was 10 and I just don't know if I'd feel secure. That being said, I found a sticky bra in my cup size that's pretty cheap on Amazon and has really great ratings, so I might at least try it.

I have never tried this bra, but I have friends who have and they swear by it.

I have DDD boobs and I wore this bra with a backless dress for my engagement party and it worked amazingly. I haven't been able to find ANYTHING that has fit my chest but this was great.

@OnceUponAChambers Same! Ugh. I would feel a lot more comfortable wearing one. When I tried it on I was just like this doesn't cover anything---the lady told me it won't. >.< Makes me nervous to try something new like that on my wedding day.

@Becoming A Mrs! Thanks! I'll check it out. Smiley smile

Well, I have an illusion back dress, but I'm barely a 32B, so I'm not sure how helpful I can be. I'm definitely getting cups sewn in. I've heard that they can make sewn in cups pretty secure, so I think it might work out for you!
