Brides with body modifications (stretched ears )

Loren, on February 15, 2016 at 10:26 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8

I, like a few of the gen y's have my ears stretched. I was wondering if there were any brides who have their ears stretched. If so, what did you wear/what do you plan on wearing for your wedding? Tunnels, plugs, etc? Also where did you purchase them? My ears are only a size 2 plug st the moment. Bonus question: anyone have experience with Stonebrook Manor in CO? Input is greatly appreciated.

I don't have stretched ears, but I do have tattoos that will show. My sister asked if I was going to cover them and our mom, of all people, said I shouldn't. (Mom has consistently rolled her eyes and asked the air why her children do these things to their bodies.)

More on topic, a friend of mine wore plugs that matched her outfit for both her own wedding and her sister's. Her wedding was non-traditional, so the plugs were black, but her sister's wedding was very traditional and she wore pink plugs. Even more on topic: I had to go back through her facebook pics just now to tell you what she wore for her own wedding. I only remembered the pink ones from her posting about what to wear, not from the actual photos.

I have no personal experience with stretched ears, but I've seen some really pretty plugs and tunnels people wear. It depends on what your style and wedding theme/feel. Do you think you want to hide it or show it off?

I don't switch out my piercings all that often, but I usually get rings from the place I got pierced bc I trust them.

Do any of these look appealing to you?

My best friend had stretched ears. For her wedding, she wore ivory colored plugs that were carved (by a friend) into really pretty flowers. They came out great in the pictures!

I'm going with something like this Smiley smile maybe in a red color (to match my converse).

I have tattoos that will differently show, but my FH and family think its fine. They were all very supportive when I got my tattoos, I got my ears stretched when I was in high school (I have a 7/16 size).

Please change your avatar to something other than the rings! They are associated with spam/trolls. Thanks!

Those all are really pretty! I have tattoos as well, I will not be covering them. I did make sure my dress compliments them.

@annakay- my avatar is a wedding dress collage. However it shows my old picture of a peony bouquet (at least for me).

You actually have two rings from what I can see, but it's not super helpful to your question to just point that out repeatedly.

I would seriously check out Etsy. I have a couple of friends with gauges and other piercings that shop almost exclusively on there.
