Brides & their wedding rehearsal!!!!

So my thought may be a little different but for me I kinda want that part to be a surprise for me. I know I want everyone else to walk down so we can make sure the song timing with their walking is correct but I am having saxophonist play so i figured that can be so hard lol but I want my FH when he sees me to be surprised because he has never seen it before.

Is this a thing? I have never heard of it, lol!! We had a small rehearsal in our living room with just me and hubby and officiant because: Officiant had never done a wedding and my hubby was a first time groom, I needed to be CLEAR in how things were gonna go.

First time I wed: We had a rehearsal and I walked down and back. No biggie.

We aren't doing an actual rehearsal. We don't have a bridal party and FH and I are walking down together.

Maybe!!! I think you are on to something.....

Our ceremony will be at the top of a hill on land, so we are definitely having a rehearsal where I want the bridal party to have a good idea of how to walk through the field and where to stand. As for me, I will probably be practicing. However, we won't have any music to practice with.

I have been told that the bride does not participate in the rehearsal. After reading the comments here, I will not be in the practice round and there will be no fill in. I want the butterflies when I walk down the isle towards my FH. I can practice my walk with headphones on my own for timing, or better yet in front of the mirror. Congrats to all you brides. It's your day.

I plan on walking myself!

I can see why people would do a proxy, but I need to see my FH the night before the wedding to calm some of my nerves!
