I got engaged on my boyfriends 40th birthday. I was planning a surprise birthday for him and he was planning a surprise engagement party for me so the joke was on me because he knew about the party the whole time!!

He put 2 on it!!! 🤣 He proposed on Thanksgiving day 2021. Wedding is April 2022. The real ring is the princess cut. When he received it, he said it looked too small and he wanted to make sure that if I said yes I had a ring on immediately. So he went and got the emerald cut as a back up. And wouldn't you know it.. He was right. The ring was too small so I had to wear the backup until the ring was done.
