Just have to do my gown fittings, make some bridesmaids gifts, and put together our seating chart. Very thankful to have an an all-inclusive venue…has made planning a breeze!

View Quoted Comment Completely different styles and colors actually. I got one from Etsy and the pics online did not match the actual dress… blush looked more pink online and more taupe in person. Plus it’s not flattering either. I don’t think they allow returns so I will try to resell it. My second dress was purchased in person and it’s the pink I wanted. We are taking dance lessons for a choreographed first dance too so my dress had to take that into consideration. Are you going to wear both of yours? Are they different also?

My dresses are two totally different styles, and I think I'm planning on wearing one for the ceremony, and the other for the reception! The ceremony dress is my original dress that I bought over two years ago. Once we postponed due to COVID, I decided that I wanted something different for my wedding dress, and ended up finding a different style that will be easier to move around in and more comfortable to wear.

I got the second dress yesterday and one of them was like what are you doing? But then we all liked the second dress better. I told them I’m even considering getting another engagement ring because mine doesn’t have a band for it. It technically doesn’t need one but it’s the principal of the thing lol. I can actually “upgrade” my ring with the jeweler so I’m really considering it. I still have time to make these changes so I may as well. Once I get married with my ring I’m keeping it so it will keep me from looking at more wedding dresses.

View Quoted Comment Upgrading the ring isn't a bad idea, especially if your fiance is on board with it! Are you looking for something that has a matching band with it? My ring didn't have an exact match for a wedding band (there wasn't anything specifically designed to be paired with my ring), but we ended up finding one that is super close and looks like it was designed for my ring! What does your current ring look like? What are you thinking you'll upgrade to?

View Quoted Comment He’s totally fine with it and like I told my MOH, I don’t NEED a band but I’m greedy and I want one 😂😂 I’d have to have my current ring looked at it see if a band can be made. It’s not weird shaped per se but I don’t think I can just put anything next to it because of the way the setting is. It actually doesn’t need band to complete it either. I have a few ring possibilities that are all completely different from each other. But yes, I do kind of want a band that goes with the engagement ring or at least looks good with it. I know people sometimes get new rings for 10 year anniversaries so I’m just doing mine pre… and may want a new one in ten years too. Lol

We are officially 209 days away! Can't wait to marry my best friend!!
