I got engaged on New Years of 2021.

This is my beautiful ring my fiance bought me from Bryan jewelry 💍

As the ball dropped, so did he to one knee holding a jewelry dish with an orgami ring, and two pearl earrings. I remember him just saying a bunch of things, but not understanding. I faintly remember him saying, "I think we should get a ring to match these earrings tomorrow!" Finally I asked, "What are you doing?" and he said, "Allison, I'm trying to propse! Will you marry me?!" I almost passed out from shock. Of course I said yes. The next day went to the jewels and we got my dream engagement ring, a pearl fasted on a gold band with two small diamonds. I couldn't be happier..

She did it in Vegas

This was actually my mother's ring. She passed away when I was 16. It was given to my sister and she was told to keep it a secret that she had it and to hold onto until she felt I had found "the one". So a few days before New Years eve she offered it to my fiance, we've been together for almost 6yrs, to propose to me with at midnight on New Years.

I said yes 24December2021 during our family trip at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, CO exactly 4 years after two friends (cough cough us) had a conversation about if they ever thought about something more... I never realized that my courage to be vulnerable was the best thing that could happen to me

He proposed on New Years at midnight as fireworks went off. We finished building my wedding band on Valentine’s Day❤️

I have been on here for a few months, but just realized I haven't participated in this discussion yet! We have been together since 2017 and got engaged mid November 2020. We don't have a crazy engagement story though! It just isn't our style. He just asked me one night at the house and said he hadn't been able to think of anything proposal wise that was fitting for us (also after I had asked him about it a few months prior and my dad put a little pressure on him 😬). He managed to keep the ring a secret for a whole 1.5 months, which is very impressive for him. We are getting married December 4th, 2021!!!

We got engaged on my birthday weekend, 12/11-2020 in Savannah GA. It was of course a surprise because I figured we were in Savannah to celebrate my birthday! We plan to tie the knot on 10/2/2021!!
