He asked and I said YES!!!!

I am a little late to the party in posting, he just asked me to marry him in October.

October 15th, 2020. It was Magical! He proposed in front of our families, and all of our friends at a Halloween party we hosted. I am a HUGE halloween fan and definitely a family person. With this proposal he killed "three" birds with one stone. I could not have asked for a more intimate, fun, loving proposal.

The picture below is us out at the beach yesterday taking a romantic walk down the beach, he found a log and wanted to take pictures of our rings. We are preparing for our future Engagement photoshoot!

We got engaged 1/1/2019.... always wanted a November wedding. In February 2019 I found out I was pregnant due November of 2019. Way to make an arrival Paxton! 😅

I’ve always had a thing for numbers/dates. On 11/17, Vince asked me to go ring shopping on his next long weekend because he knew there was a piece of my dad’s jewelry I wanted to use. So, 11 days later, we made some appointments and set out on our journey.
At this point, we knew the number 11 was going to be special to us because both his parents were born on the 11th, I was born in the 1st month, and he was born on the 1st day. Without saying anything to him, he mentioned incorporating a lucky number into the ring (like 7 or 11). Little did Vince know (because he gave me 11 days to think), I was already looking at the calendar for any wedding dates that might have stuck out to me and 7/11/21 was one of those dates. Mainly because 7 is lucky and 11 is an angel number (and after more research, 711 is also an angel number).
Eleven is like two pillars, two individuals standing side by side in the ultimate partnership. Also, 7 and 11 are both indivisible/prime numbers, and 21 is blackjack. I honestly could talk about these numbers for hours but I think you get the meaning behind them (aka they are special).
The day we started our search, I thought I had a slight idea in my head of what I wanted but we got to the second jewelry store and I was all over the place. I had nailed it down to 3 very different looks and Vince decided on the final version (the 3 stone pictured and a style I never considered). I’ve realized I love the 3 stones because to me it symbolizes 2 smaller stones becoming 1 larger stone. Also, a 3 stone ring is representative of the couples past, present, and future (I.e when you met, your engagement, and your marriage).
Not only was there a 3 stone ring we loved but Vince said why don’t we use 8 diamonds from my dads ring to make it 11 main stones in my ring. But the kicker, “8” - a number I always associate with my grandma who was born on 8/18/18 but also the age I was when my dad passed away. Not only was the jewelry store able to incorporate the 8 diamonds from my dad’s ring, but they were also able to use the gold from the ring to make mine. One other thing that was important to me was that all the diamonds were round because they have no end.
So now the fun part - we did set our wedding ceremony date for 7/11/21, which happens to be my mom’s oldest sister’s birthday!! However, with the current state of everything - we plan to have a micro-wedding. Then, 11 months to the date later, on 6/11/22, we will have our reception with all of our friends and family (and hopefully we can drink, eat, and boogie the night away mask-less)❤️
Few more fun facts - we met on 7/29 aka 7 and 2+9 = 7/11. (The ring also has 29 total stones). After we spoke with our officiant, she said her anniversary is 7/11 and she also pointed out our address and address of the ceremony - 1121 🤯❤️.
