Brides getting married April 2022

Whether you're behind or not probably depends on your location. Our wedding isn't until September 2022, but I have most of the big vendors booked already, and even some smaller details, but we live in a more rural area so options are limited. And we knew exactly what we wanted, so we wanted to book before anyone else got in. If you have plenty of options and aren't super particular about who the vendors are, then you're fine!

April 9, ‘22 as well! 🙌🏻 I’m pretty much at the same place as you. Venue, Photographer, Videographer, caterer, dress and just booked Florist last week. We aren’t doing a DJ, but it’s good you booked them early.

We are doing an out of town wedding 4/9/22 so I hired a wedding coordinator to handle everything. Thru her we have the venue (a boat), the officiant, flowers, cake, decorations, fireworks, and photographer completed. I have our beach condo booked and working on booking hotel rooms for the other guests. I've sent out our Save The Date cards and I am currently dress shopping. I still need the figure out the catering for the after reception party on the beach since that isn't part of the package I paid for. She has recommendations for that plus hair and make up that I haven't followed up with yet, But we are having a informal wedding (50ish people) and really just want to keep it fun and easy.

Don't forget about your Officiant/Minister. They're in charge of the first event of the day and many times, it's the last vendor couples think of.

I have a venue, dress, photographer/videographer so far. We’re in the process of picking out a band.

Omg I feel so behind!!! We have venue, church, rehearsal dinner venue and are going through catering proposals this week. I haven't even begun to think about photographer, DJ, and florist. My mom is visiting in September and I was hoping to dress shop then - is that way too late??? I'm in Washington, DC.

We have our meeting coming up to really set it all up and get everything together, but that’s where we are. It doesn’t seem like much, but it’s something 😂

I have the venue booked as well as hair and makeup. We had to switch our date again since my fiancé won’t be back from deployment until our wedding date.

Hello 22's!!
So far we have the venue (with catering included). The ceremony/reception is also being held at the same place. Photographer, Dj, Makeup artist all have been booked. I feel as we're somewhat ahead, but then so behind. I think I found the dress I love, need to head out with my bride squad and try on a few.

Tbh I’m probably behind bc I do not have a dress yet and my venue is at my house in the back yard. So it’s a lot of family oriented help. Lol Alexa will DJ my wedding 😂

View Quoted Comment Getting all the vendors booked is the absolute best feeling 😅 For me, the florist was the one I was least invested in from the beginning but it turned out to be the one that helped the most in terms of imagining my big vision! For our cake, we decided to do Publix for a cutting cake and our caterer is doing our desserts. So that was one I didn’t have to worry about. Now, I’m working on all the personal details that will my our day unique & special to us & that’s what I have been the most excited about :-)

I have venue, caterer, photographer, DJ, florist, officiant, cake, dress and hair/makeup booked. I had to get a jump start in my area since things were booking up so quickly due to brides rescheduling. I feel like I am still missing something big.

We’re getting married 4/22/22 in Baltimore City. We’ve had our venue/caterer lined up since February, but just recently got my dress. Save-the-Dates go out on Monday and we just met with Florist and Baker a couple of days ago. We’re looking at a live band and think we’ll lock them down in July/August. Meeting with vendors in person makes such a big difference and I’m feeling so grateful that mandates are lifting and our wedding planning experience can be a little more traditional.

Based on the comments, I feel super behind! I have the venue, photographer and planner locked in but that’s all I have. I’m going based on what my planner suggests.
