Hi, I wanted to reach out to see what Brides are paying for in terms of Bridesmaids on the big day. Is it customary to pay for hair, makeup, and nails for the bridesmaids? It can get quite expensive with all of it, especially with many bridesmaids and airbrush makeup, and gel nails, but I dont want...

I wanted to reach out to see what Brides are paying for in terms of Bridesmaids on the big day. Is it customary to pay for hair, makeup, and nails for the bridesmaids? It can get quite expensive with all of it, especially with many bridesmaids and airbrush makeup, and gel nails, but I dont want to come off as a cheap bride that doesn't want to pay for things! Are people giving their bridesmaids options on if they want makeup services and their nails done? Help!

I told my girls that none of it was mandatory but I would pay for either hair or makeup if they wanted but the other one is one them if they chose to do it. They seemed fine with that.

I am paying for hair. Makeup is a steal...only 25 so everyone is doing it. I'm also treating them to mani/pedis as part of their gift. They can do whatever they want to their nails, so it can carry back into their everyday lives after the wedding.

I will be paying for both. I feel awkward giving them the option. Is someone can't afford it they are going to stick out amongst the rest. I didn't want them to feel that way so I'm paying for hair and makeup.
