Bridemaid meet&greet

Hannah, on May 14, 2019 at 7:28 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 8
I’m wanting to have a small get together with my 6 bridesmaids in a few weeks. None of them know each other super well so I thought it’d be fun. If anyone has any ideas or games off of Pinterest that they’ve seen, leave them in the comments! Thanks! Smiley smile

I hosted a small thing with whatever bridesmaids were available! I have 7 of them and 6 of them were able to come Smiley smile I ended up winning one of those Mary kay party free facial things (although I think that's one of those things everyone wins) but we did that and everyone really enjoyed it.

I also chose to get the bridesmaid dresses from azazie, so I had everyone order their sample dresses if they wanted to and we had a little fashion show basically. There were probably like 12-15 dresses that everyone tried on. Everyone ended up finding the dress they wanted! It was lots of fun Smiley smile

Other than that, we just ordered lots of pizza and had margaritas. Kept it simple!

I'm having a Bridesmaid/bridal party get together this weekend.

They don't know each other at all so I want a chance for them to meet before any major wedding events (bridal shower, batch party etc.)

They are traveling to my place where we'll start the day off with shopping for dresses, lunch then end the day by going to my MOH house for the whole bridal party to meet and have a camp fire, enjoy junk food (and s'mores) and play games like yard games and Cards Against Humanity.

I did this for my girls a few weeks ago not all of them knew one another. All I did was offer to treat them to a nice dinner out and drinks afterwards. We had a blast and still joke about the waiter refusing to give my friend more fries with her meal haha.

What did you end up planning for the get together, Hannah? Did everyone have a great time?

We actually didn’t get to do it when I wanted. So we haven’t yet.

Aw that is a pity. When do you think everyone will be free so you can host it?

Sorry for just now seeing this, hopefully it's not too late.

I did a surprise "Meet & Greet". I texted them individually and told them I wanted to have a Bestfriend Day" and to meet me at Red Lobster that it was my treat! I only had enough for their soft drinks and one meal they wanted so I told them they had to purchase their own alcoholic beverages. I then went online to see how to stuff balloons and so my fiancé helped me blow them up and stuff them with goodies it was amazing what you can stuff in a small balloon and then blow up! I had 2 personal small wine bottles (their favorite: white, blush or red) small candles, a planner, Fall candy because we are getting married in the Fall and their favorite color ink pen (which the ink pens had a Flavor scent) I put the balloons in a Gift Bag, and attached a safety pin to each balloon. I called Red Lobster and told them I needed a Private Room and also let them know that they will be popping the balloons so they can inform their guest that may have kids or PTSD to be aware. When they all met they were surprised and it was beautiful; they all ordered the "All You Can Eat" shrimp and I "Popped the Question" will they be in my wedding!!!!!
