Bride with groom to pick out tux

I would say it is fine if he doesn't want you to go. My FH doesn't know squat about clothes so he would never pick out an outfit without me there.

We went together. I trust him to pick one out, but I was the one asking questions and giving details to the salesperson, so he kind of needed me there.

Baahaha, my man was a total "nerdball" too and didn't want me to see either, he went with his and my dad.

I went with hubs and the GM. I wanted the gray to match the navy dresses.

I hope my FH wants to go without me. I think the guys should go with the groomsmen and fathers. I guess there would be an exception if you're the one doing all the work on the color schemes and everything, but in my case a classic black tux shouldn't be too hard.

Just curious how your FH's got dressed before they met you?? I'm sure most men can figure out what they look good in. I guarantee they don't need you add much as you think they do. @OP trust your FH. I'm sure he'll be fine and look very handsome on your day.

I'm not going with him. He's just wearing a black suit with a white shirt. I personally don't care to go so I'm glad he hasn't asked me to.

I work at a tuxedo rental place and a lot of the time the future bride will come so she can help pick it out and help match with the bridesmaids! I see some guys by themselves picking it out and everything goes great, then there are times I see a guy come in by himself then have to come back and change things because she didn't like the color choices or the tux. So it all depends on you two to decide!

I went with him because none of the GMs live in our area and he wanted someone to bounce things off of. He picked the style and I made sure the color was right and gave him my opinion on what looked best on him.

He's pretty opinionated on suits so I went in with the assumption that I was only there to tell him what he picked out was the best choice.

He wanted to me to go with him. He is between 2 different suits. I won't know the final choice till I see him on our wedding day.

I don't think a bride HAS to have a say in what he wears - unless he gets a say in her dress.

I went with mine because he asked. I didn't want to go, and I kept my mouth shut unless he asked my opinion (which, when he did, it was on the color of the shirt since he knew my dress was ivory). I wanted him to wear what he wanted.
