We did. Both of ours were from a consignment store. Mine was used, and NotFroofy's was a sample.

I looked for local consignment stores in my area and unfortunately couldn't find anything, if so I would have been totally okay with purchasing my dress there. Your dress is beautiful, great find!

I got mine at Salvation Army for $40 on a joke. Still love it.

Gorgeous! When I was shopping for a dress I looked everywhere. There was a shop that supports a cancer charity but nothing looked good on me, I felt so bad! I found cute dresses at thrift stores but they had all been hemmed and I’m a long legged lady, that was a no-go.

Finally I told my FH that I really just want a ballgown in all silk so I could have it dyed and transformed into a regal renaissance gown for our annual renaissance ball that we go to every year. I wanted something I could wear again and again. We finally found it at a resale bridal shop.

That looks great on you, congrats! I seriously thought about consignment but my mother talked me into buying one from a bridal salon, and I ended up finding my dress so I can't be too upset with it.
