Bride ordered the groomsmens attire online

Shelby, on March 6, 2020 at 12:56 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5

I am attending a wedding next month and the bride ordered all of the groomsmens attire online without having them try anything on in the store (I'm not even sure how much everything costs yet or where she ordered them from) She just asked for his size and then ordered everything. Would it be rude to ask her how much this is all going to cost us? And now I'm worried his stuff won't even fit!

It’s not rude at all to ask how much it’s gonna cost you if you’re paying for it

I ordered everything for our groomsmen online. I just had my husband ask for sizes. Usually guys sizes are a lot more standard than women's. Everyone in our groups clothing fit. We gave it to them a few weeks before the wedding. It was fine. We bought all of their stuff for them (right down to their socks and tie bars) so we didn't give any pricing information..but if you're paying for it, it's not rude to ask. Hopefully she didn't get anything too expensive.

I personally think if you are paying for it, then it should have been discussed prior to anyone ordering anything. I'd be a little miffed if someone just started ordering all willy nilly without discussing cost first.
